The Beta Omicron chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at Oklahoma City University is proud to announce that on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 we initiated our newest pledge class, Pledge Class 13. We could not be prouder of our newest sisters and are so excited to officially welcome them into our sisterhood. Congratulations ladies!
It has been incredible to watch so many sisters shine in productions at Oklahoma City University over the past few weeks. Congratulations to sisters who were apart of Some Girl[s], The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Violet, Street Scene, and the Improv Shows. We are so proud to announce that we have won Homecoming Sweepstakes for a second year in a row. We placed in each category, as well as, winning Lip Sync, and being awarded People’s Choice in Lip Sync. Our incredible sister Julia Devine, representing Gamma Phi Beta, was awarded Homecoming Queen. Sister, and Miss Oklahoma, Kelsey Griswold also sang the National Anthem. Congratulations to every organization on all of your hard work these last few weeks.
Congratulations to all of the talented young women who competed in Miss OCU 2014. We had four incredible sisters compete: Victoria Renard, Clytee Burchett, Amanda Wright, and Elizabeth Stolper. It was a moving evening watching sister Sarah White pass on her crown to fellow Gamma Phi Beta, and Miss OCU 2014, Elizabeth Stolper. We are so proud of all of you ladies!
Congratulations to all of the beautiful Bigs who received Littles and Littles who received Bigs yesterday at our reveal. It was such an incredible day of sisterhood and love. It has been a wonderful two weekends of performing arts at Oklahoma City University! Congratulations to sisters Dagny McCartney, Mollie Craven, and Hannah McCue on their performances in And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank, which ran the past two weekends. Congratulations to Natalie Jacobson and Paty Lopez on all their help behind the scenes. We are also so proud of the sisters in 9 to 5 which performed this weekend: Kate Shiels, Clytee Burchett, and Lauren Urso. We are so proud of all of you talented ladies!
This weekend Gamma Phi Beta’s Beta Omicron chapter at Oklahoma City University hosted their semiannual Pancake Palooza to raise money for Building Strong Girls. It was a wonderful week of philanthropy leading up to Pancake Palooza on Saturday. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you to everyone who participated!
